Administrative Specialist


Administer the Free A Family® program and complete donor-centered receipting tasks and communications.


  1. Support the Canadian Free A Family® (FAF) program by maintaining various databases, mailing renewal letters and appreciation letters along with receipts, coordinating quarterly (FAF) mailings and following-up with lapsed donors

  2. Make and take telephone calls related to donations, general inquiries and gift catalog orders

  3. Review, sort and mail charitable tax receipts and gift acknowledgements, forward designated receipts to other staff for processing

  4. Prepare and mail notifications for memorial and/or in-honour gifts

  5. Contact and follow-up with donors related to payment processing and/or renewal matters

  6. Assist donor relations and communications sub-teams with mailings

  7. Process returned postal mail e.g. updates and receipts, follow-up with donors to obtain new contact information

  8. Update donor database as needed

  9. Perform other duties as assigned
