Chief Executive Officer - Cross International

Cross International is a mission working to mobilize the global Church to transform the poor and their communities materially and spiritually for the glory of Jesus Christ. This mission is poised to take a leap into becoming a significant global agent in this work and seeks an entrepreneurial and bold leader who loves the poor and embraces the sacred privilege of serving “the least of these.”
The CEO is the spiritual leader of Cross International and the guardian of its Christian culture. This role includes close partnership with the CEO of the sister organization, Cross Catholic Outreach, to lead combined staff devotions and spiritual formation, protecting an ecumenical culture. The CEO will also be responsible to set the organization’s mission priorities and focus on its work with the poor. The next CEO will also be the primary spokesperson of Cross International’s mission and will embrace the responsibilities of fund raising, financial management, and long term strategic planning.
The man or woman who is a great candidate for this role will be a person of high character, deep and mature faith in Christ, and an awareness of their own brokenness. This person will have an uncompromising commitment to mobilize the church towards love and care for the poor and vulnerable.

Knowledge and Required Competencies

Strong spiritual leadership and vision setting abilities
Entrepreneurial and self-motivated, able to handle multiple tasks with senior levels of responsibility
Intimate and established Christian life with mature knowledge of the Bible and Theology
Public speaking and public relations skills
Strong organizational and analytical abilities
Experience in strategic planning
Proven track record of building and leading effective organizations
Able to work with diverse groups of people as well as individuals in order to accomplish the goals and objectives of Cross International

General Requirements
Minimum 10 years senior level management experience with at least 5 years in non-profits
Will be an active member in a local church. When possible, he/she will regularly attend worship services and be a contributing part of a local body of believers
Have an awareness of brokenness and an understanding of how God uses brokenness to minister to others
Deep desire to see the Kingdom of God advanced through prayer and relationships
Strong active listening skills – the ability to synthesize significant amounts of information in short periods of time
Sense of humor. Ability to not take self too seriously, nding self worth in Jesus alone.

Residence in Pompano Beach FL or one of the surrounding communities
