Role Overview: The Office Manager is a vital member of the Mission: Hope team. The Office Manager oversees the smooth flow of daily operations, supports the team, provides policy and day-to-day financial oversight; supports the CEO; processes incoming gifts and ensures they are properly recorder in CRM; is generally the first point-of-contact for incoming calls, and manages vendor relations. Additional administrative duties are required as needed.
Review / Approve for full-time employees (bi-monthly)
Manages human resources functions, including staff development, policy, payroll, employee recognition and events, appraisal process, and all other functions that ensure the team has adequate administrative support to thrive.
Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, overseeing facility management, and managing the team calendar.
Manages vendor relationships, oversees contracts, and ensures invoices are reviewed and paid on time.
Manages incoming mail and processes gifts, ensuring they are properly recorded.
Provides a monthly financial summary report that is used by the CEO and board for financial stewardship.
Provides human resource support for team leaders as they hire new employees. This includes recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and other forms of training.
Achieves financial objectives by collaborating with CEO on annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions to clear class deficiencies.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Experience & Qualifications:
Christ follower who is passionate about international ministry
Five or more years’ office management or administrative experience
Strong computer skills
People-oriented with a passion to equip staff to thrive
Competent math and basic accounting skills
Good written and oral communicator
Human Resources experience preferred
40 – 50 Hours per week
