Job Title: Marketing Technology Manager

Reports To: Director of Marketing and Communications

Location: Bentonville preferred; remote possible

Status: Full-time, Exempt

 

This position has a preference for candidates in the Northwest Arkansas area, but we are open to hiring remotely. Remote candidates, based in the United States, are encouraged to apply. 

 

Position Summary: The Marketing Technology Manager is the point of contact and subject matter expert for all marketing platform functionality and operations at Water for Good. This role will oversee marketing technology resources, which includes the organization’s website, fundraising platforms, email marketing platforms, social media tools, data dashboards, and others. The role is responsible for capturing, monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing the results of all marketing efforts. This is not primarily a creative role, but interest in and collaboration on creative side projects will be welcome.

 

Responsibilities & Duties Overview:

Website & SEO Management

  • Oversee Water for Good’s website. Manage content updates, such as uploading project stories and updating website data, troubleshoot issues and manage the ongoing development of new pages.
  • Assist in creating, reporting on, and interpreting data for accurate analysis of initiatives from website traffic.
  • Optimize SEO, SEM, and digital marketing.
  • Build and support SEO strategies, including optimizing keywords in content marketing projects.
     

Marketing Systems and Dashboards Management

  • Oversee the fundraising platform, Funraise. Create and manage new campaigns, track links, problem solve, and report on progress and analytics.
  • Manage the social media posting and analytics platform. Analyze user engagement across all social media platforms.
  • Manage the email marketing service, Pardot (a Salesforce platform). Build lists, manage campaigns, load and send emails, manage email bounce information, and report on analytics.
  • Develop automated, department-specific dashboards for marketing and donor relations. Responsible for all marketing dashboards and reporting metrics, used to track KPIs.
  • Strategize and implement new AI platforms and resources to bring innovative solutions to the marketing team.
     

Digital Marketing Strategy and Tools Management

  • Lead the development and implementation of digital advertising strategy. Manage the budget, determine the best places to pay for ads, monitor engagement and success rate, do testing and adjust strategy in a dynamic timeline for best possible results. 
  • Manage digital subscriptions and logins of all kinds for the marketing team, including the e-commerce shop, photo management, Canva, and others.
  • Be an active and informed Asana user. Continuously update work tasks and timelines on this platform. Assist the team with technical aspects of the platform.
  • Serve as a point of contact for tech/digital vendor management for the marketing team.
     

Other Marketing Technology Duties

  • Support the Marketing team with strategic ideas and collaboration to grow and enhance the Water for Good brand. Serve as a brand ambassador, helping to promote, elevate, and clarify who we are and what we do to all internal and external audiences.
  • Collaborate with IT on marketing projects. Present ideas and solutions and offer support to their interaction with and needs from marketing.
  • Keep up with the latest marketing technology and analytics trends and offer ongoing suggestions and implementations to elevate our work.
  • Other duties as assigned.
     

Work Experience & Qualifications:  

Required Qualifications:  

  • Passion for Water for Good’s mission of transforming lives and sharing God’s love through sustainable access to safe water, improved sanitation, and hygiene in the places that need it most.
  • 3+ years of experience in working with marketing platforms and analytics
  • Experience using Salesforce, or a similar CRM platform
  • Experience using other digital marketing tools
  • Data-driven, critical thinker, combined with strong analytical skills and accuracy
  • Professional, self-starter
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States; no sponsorship will be provided
     

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Experience building marketing dashboards
  • Experience using project management software, such as Asana
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution focused in Marketing or a Technology-related degree path
     

Physical Qualifications:  

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
