The Second Curve

From doing the work to guiding it.

Our Senior Fellows are at the point in their careers where their most valuable contribution is helping the leaders coming up behind them. They've traded the day-to-day work for the judgment that comes from years of doing it.

They've raised money in lean years, worked through hard board seasons, made tough staffing calls, and learned from their share of mistakes. They won't hand you a curriculum or tell you what to do. They'll share what they've seen work and help you think through your own decisions.

How It Works

One touchpoint a month. Six months of momentum.

From January to June, you'll alternate between group sessions and one-on-one meetings with your Senior Fellow, all on Zoom. There's no set curriculum. Each Fellow teaches from their own experience in their subject area.

3 Group Sessions

90 minutes each, in January, March, and May. Your Fellow opens with a short talk and Q&A, then the group works through a real challenge one of you is facing. Everyone brings one challenge from their own organization during the program.

3 Private One-on-Ones

60 minutes with your Fellow in February, April, and June. You set the agenda, and our team will help you come in with focus areas and questions.

1 Subject Area

Pick the area you most want to grow in, and you'll be matched with a Fellow who has led in it for years.
