Upcoming Webinars
Announcing a webinar on “Measuring holistic wellbeing and the impact of church and community mobilisation: reflections from Tearfund's experience of a multi-country study,” Tuesday, July 16, 11:00 a.m. EST.
The webinar will discuss the key lessons shared in “Compelling, consistent and credible...” Christian Relief, Development, and Advocacy 5(2), Winter 2024, 108-120.
These lessons are based on the experience of conducting the Local Church, Lasting Transformation study (Fawcett et al. 2023). This study explores the impact of Tearfund’s church and community mobilisation processes on holistic wellbeing in low- and middle-income contexts.
The webinar will also introduce the methodology of the study, why social value was important to measure for Tearfund, and how the study aimed to provide evidence for both secular and faith-based funders.
As time allows, participants will be invited to share/discuss their own experiences of measuring holistic wellbeing and their work with churches.
