The Need

For 25 years, IJM has pioneered the work to protect vulnerable people from violence. As we grow to expand our impact to protect 500 million people from violence by 2030, we are seeking a Direct Response Fundraising professional to develop, execute and manage direct response fundraising campaigns within the Integrated Fundraising team. A successful person will be creative, data-driven and experienced in multi-channel fundraising seeking to propel new donor acquisition growth and donor-centric stewardship.

This position is preferred to be based in the Washington, DC area (hybrid) or may be open to remote locations in the US and reports to the Head of Mass Audience, Integrated Fundraising, US. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the strategy and execution across multiple audiences, including Mass, Midlevel, Major and fundraising channels;
  • Provide strategy support for managing fundraising agency partnerships;
  • Oversee strategy execution for donor journeys for one-time and recurring donors;
  • Leverage KPI data to drive strategy recommendations and program management;
  • Ensure delivery of direct response campaigns that meet established IJM imagery and story guidelines, alongside our brand ambassadors to align with IJM’s brand standards;
  • Represent Integrated Fundraising in cross-collaborative initiatives across IJM North America and IJM Global partners; and
  • Participation in IJM’s community of spiritual formation.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a multi-channel fundraising role with a proven track record in growing a multi-channel, or omni-channel, program across acquisition, significant revenue growth of the file, and retention;
  • An exceptional grasp and ability to utilize all aspects of direct response fundraising and relevant data to drive successful program development;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and work alongside external vendor-partners;
  • Expertise in fundraising reporting, analysis and KPIs; and
  • Expertise in direct response best practices and methodologies across multiple channels.

*What is a statement of faith?
